About this design
Terrain Footprints — Full 16-Piece Open Mesh Set
Designed and printed by Vatborn. A complete set of terrain area footprints for one game, sized to the 11th edition tournament terrain templates published for Warhammer 40,000. Lay your ruins on top and everyone can see exactly where the terrain area ends.
The open diamond-mesh design keeps each footprint light and lets your table mat show through, while a solid rim follows the rubble outline of each template.
What you get
16 footprints in black PLA, printed as 24 parts:
- 4 × large rectangle, approx. 292 × 193 mm (7 × 11.5 in nominal), each in 2 parts
- 2 × clipped triangle, approx. 302 × 203 mm (8 × 11.5 in nominal), each in 2 parts
- 4 × medium rectangle, approx. 166 × 111 mm (6 × 4 in nominal)
- 2 × long line, approx. 254 × 90 mm (10 × 2.5 in nominal), each in 2 parts
- 4 × short line, approx. 152 × 69 mm (6 × 2 in nominal)
Sizes include the rubble edges; the nominal sizes in inches are the template sizes without them.
Assembly
The larger footprints come in two parts that press together with dovetail joins. Push them together on a flat surface. A drop of glue or tape underneath is optional if you want them permanent.
Details
- 2 mm thick, flat on both sides, so each footprint can be flipped for mirrored layouts
- Open 10 mm diamond grid with a solid border
- Supplied unpainted in black PLA plastic; no miniatures or terrain included
Images are digital renders of the set. Visible print layers and small finish variations are normal for 3D-printed products. Keep away from high heat and hot cars.
