We check every submission by hand, usually within a few days. Approved photos go on the product page and your code arrives by email from [email protected].

No. Photo Rewards is for photos of your printed piece only. We never ask for, reward or publish reviews or ratings in return for a code, and what you think of your order doesn’t affect whether your photos are approved.
How do I send my photos?
Use the form on this page. Enter your order reference (it looks like VB-123-4567) and the email you ordered with, choose the product, add 2 or 3 photos and tick the permission box. We never ask for card details.
When can I send them?
Once your order has been posted or collected. Paint it, finish it, photograph it, then send your photos whenever you’re ready.
Does buying a piece reserve my reward?
No. Buying or sending photos doesn’t reserve it. The reward goes to the first approved real photos of that product. Once a real photo is on the product page, the product stops qualifying, even for people who bought it earlier.
The page only has a digital render. Can it qualify?
Yes. Digital renders aren’t photos of the physical printed product. A product can qualify while its page has no real photo of the printed piece when your photos are approved. Check the product page before you send.
How much is the code worth?
50% of what you paid for that product’s items in your order, after any discounts, including all of that product you bought. Other products and postage don’t count. Pieces you paid A$50 for earn a A$25 code. The form shows the amount before you send.
How do I use the code?
Enter it in the “Discount code” box at checkout on vatborn.com. It works once, on one order, and takes its value off the items (not postage). If that order’s items cost less than the code, it covers all but A$1.00 of them and the rest isn’t kept. Free delivery from A$150 is worked out after the code. The code has no expiry date and can’t be swapped for cash.
Do Etsy or eBay purchases count?
No. Only products bought on vatborn.com qualify.
Do I need professional painting or a camera?
No. A phone camera is fine. Show your painted miniature, or other finished print, in sharp, well-lit photos with a simple background. Send original photos at least 1,200 pixels on the longest side (2,000 or more is best), not screenshots, renders or compressed social-media downloads.
Who owns the photographs?
You do. You must have taken them. By sending them you give Vatborn non-exclusive permission to use them on product pages, the website, social media and advertising. If you’d like an approved photo taken down later, email [email protected].
What happens after I send them?
We check every submission by hand against your order, the product page, photo quality and your permission, usually within a few days. If they’re approved, one or more of your photos goes on the product page and we email your code from [email protected]. If we can’t use them, we’ll tell you why.
